The Role:We’re looking for a Legal Cashier to support the finance function in a friendly and professional office environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial operations run smoothly and in full compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage client accounts in accordance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) rules.
• Administer daily client funds and process electronic payments (CHAPS, BACs, FPS).
• Handle payments, receipts, transfers, manual cheques, and cash banking.
• Post expenses related to fees, travel, and other disbursements.
• Process invoices from platforms such as Infotrack and Land Registry.
• Support the team with filing and general finance administration.

What You’ll Bring:

• Prior experience in legal accounts.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A self-motivated and organised approach to work.
• Experience with Indigo software is a plus, but not essential.
• Proximity to Brighton or ability to commute easily.
