Legal Cashier - LJ Recruitment : Job Details

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Cashier to join a busy and friendly finance team. In this key role, you'll help ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with Solicitor's Accounts Rules (SAR).

What You'll Do:

• Process client and office transactions in line with SAR and internal policies
• Perform bank reconciliations for client and office accounts
• Handle payments (BACS, CHAPS, cheques) and manage transfers
• Allocate funds, post disbursements, and process invoices
• Support matter management and liaise with fee earners on financial queries

What We're Looking For:

• Experience as a Legal Cashier or similar finance role in a legal setting
• Strong knowledge of Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SAR)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Proficiency with legal accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
