An elite international law firm is looking to hire a Legal Business Development Manager to support its market-leading practices in London. This role offers the chance to work closely with top-ranked lawyers on complex, high-value matters — from multi-billion-pound class actions and cross-border arbitrations to landmark competition cases and global merger reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute BD and client development strategies aligned with practice priorities.
• Lead on pitch materials, RFPs, credentials, and targeted client communications.
• Support cross-selling efforts across disputes, antitrust, and transactional teams.
• Manage client feedback programmes and internal reporting on key clients and prospects.
• Work with marketing, communications, and PR teams on thought leadership and profile-raising initiatives.
• Identify speaking opportunities, industry events, and awards relevant to the practices.
• Manage and mentor a BD coordinator, ensuring high standards and career development.

What They’re Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years’ BD/marketing experience in a leading law firm.
• Strong understanding of litigation, arbitration, and/or competition law markets.
• Excellent project management, writing, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build trust with senior stakeholders and drive initiatives forward.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a collaborative mindset.
• Degree educated or equivalent; additional languages a plus.
