The successful candidate will provide administrative support to two legal teams, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of files and assisting in the delivery of excellent client care. - Assisting legal teams with obtaining, reviewing, and organising medical records relevant to Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence cases
- Requesting medical records from hospitals, GPs, and other healthcare providers in line with legal protocols
- Liaising with medical experts and third parties to arrange assessments and appointments for clients
- Managing appointment schedules, confirmations, and related correspondence
- Maintaining accurate records of all medical communications and documentation
- Ensuring all sensitive data is handled confidentially and in compliance with GDPR and regulatory standards
- Supporting fee earners with additional administrative tasks related to medical evidence and case preparation
Requirements
- Previous experience in a legal administration or legal support role
- Exposure to Personal Injury and/or Medical Negligence work is highly desirable
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive/confidential information
- A team player with a proactive and flexible approach
