Job Description :

Our client is a renowned, highly respected law practice based in the York area. It is due to expansion that they are now seeking an administrator to compliment their growing team. This is a varied role - requiring good attention to detail, strong communication skills and enthusiasm. Your duties will include:

Working with all departments across all three offices to provide a central resource for the following tasks. The Onboarding Agent will be the one of the first points of contact for new clients at our firm, responsible for ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and efficient onboarding process. This role involves coordinating between new clients and our legal teams to ensure all initial documentation, compliance checks, and preliminary assessments are completed in a timely and professional manner.

  • File opening within our case management system
  • Creating matter contacts, including beneficiaries, executors and attorneys in our case management system
  • Creating entity and matter links
  • Identity check and AML checks for clients, beneficiaries, executors etc.
  • Sending out and receiving signed terms of business
  • Sending out and receiving standard conveyancing questionnaires
  • Sending out and receiving property information forms
  • Bankruptcy searches for beneficiaries
  • Performing Lawyer Checker searches
  • Liaising with fee earners, support staff and admin team as required
  • Offer ongoing support to clients throughout the onboarding process, addressing any concerns or queries they may have.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve the onboarding process and enhance client satisfaction.

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Microsoft Office Products
  • Experience using web based systems such as quote platforms, client platforms etc.
  • Experience using case management systems.

Hours are full time Monday to Friday

Essential requirements - at least one years admininstration experience ideally within the legal profession. Good GCSE and A Levels.

Salary is c£23k
