We’re looking for a passionate Lecturer in Foundation Studies to join our college team in London. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with experience supporting young adults in educational or care settings, and who is committed to helping learners access further education.

• Teaching & Curriculum Delivery: Deliver engaging lessons across Access to FE programmes, preparing students for Edexcel and City & Guilds portfolios and Functional Skills exams.
• Classroom Support: Collaborate with Learning Support Assistants to ensure inclusive and effective learning environments.
• Student Engagement: Foster a supportive and motivating classroom culture, encouraging student participation and progress.
• Safeguarding Commitment: Uphold safeguarding standards and contribute to a safe learning environment for all students.
• Enrichment Activities: Participate in residential trips and activity days to enhance the student experience within Foundation Studies.

• Experience working with students or young adults in educational or care settings.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding practices and responsibilities.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs.
