Position:  Fire Safety Remediation Coordinator

Location: The convenience of working from home with occasional office attendance required

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

As a Fire Safety Remediation Coordinator at Rendall & Rittner, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive support to your Fire Safety Remediation Manager, ensuring compliance with current fire safety regulations across our managed properties. You will be part of a dedicated team working to remediate unsafe building facades and working with various Government agencies and Developers to fund these remediation works. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to your Fire Safety Remediation Manager and the wider Remediation Team.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating remediation trackers, Government funding portals and other related documentation.
  • Report and escalate any safety concerns or incidents to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Keep up to date with relevant safety regulations and the Building Safety Act.
  • Obtaining quotations for various fire safety related surveys and reports.
  • Responsible for booking meetings and day to day diary management.
  • Providing regular leaseholder communications and responding to all enquiries.
  • Attending regular Government agency, client, contractor and leaseholder meetings and producing meeting minutes when required.
  • Daily Teams meetings with your manager to provide administration support across their dedicated remediation projects.
  • Other administration tasks, but not limited to, uploading invoices, producing presentations, monitoring contractor vetting documents and insurances.
  • Any other tasks relating to your role as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven administrative experience, ideally within property management, health and safety or construction industry.
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on detail.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask priorities across multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Teams.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A willingness to learn and stay up to date on health and safety regulations, including the Building Safety Act.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
