Learning Support Assistant - Reception | Full Time | Putney, SW15Start Date: September 2025Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday

Reeson Education is working with a welcoming primary school in Putney who are seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 and small group support for a child in Reception with Autism and challenging behaviour.

• Supporting a Reception-aged pupil with Autism (ASD) and challenging behaviour

• Implementing strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour

• Assisting the class teacher with classroom routines, learning activities, and interventions

• Building trusting relationships with the pupil and encouraging engagement in learning

• Collaborating with the SENCO and wider staff team

• Experience supporting children with ASD and challenging behaviour

• Calm, patient, and nurturing with strong communication skills

• Confident working 1:1 and in small groups

• Understanding of SEN strategies, visual aids, and structured routines

• Committed to inclusion and helping pupils achieve their potential

• Enhanced DBS or willing to apply

• A supportive, inclusive and child-centred environment

• Experienced SEN and teaching staff for guidance and collaboration
