Learning Support Assistant

Morden

Full and Part time

£15-16 Per Hour

Currently, we are seeking a Learning Support Assistant and are interested in aiding your career growth if you have previous experience within these criteria:

• GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) are usually required.
• Teaching Assistant Diploma (optional but beneficial).
• Safeguarding and Child Protection Training (often mandatory).
• Special Educational Needs (SEN) Training.

Experience

• Experience working with children (paid, voluntary, or personal).
• Classroom-based experience (e.g., through placements or shadowing).
• Experience supporting children with SEN.
• Understanding of school systems and curriculum, especially literacy and numeracy.

Day to Day of the role:

• Work closely with students with additional needs to provide tailored support and assistance.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to implement individual learning plans.
• Facilitate an inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse requirements of students.
• Monitor and support the progress and development of students.
• Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
• Provide encouragement and motivation to students to help them achieve their potential.
