SEN Learning Support Assistant – Barnet

Location: Barnet, North London

Start Date: September 2025

Full-Time | Term-Time Only

£85–£100 per day (depending on experience)

We’re currently recruiting for a warm and resilient SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary/secondary school in Barnet. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children 1:1 and in small groups, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.

• Supporting pupils with a range of SEN including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and speech and language needs
• Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies
• Supporting children with emotional regulation, social development, and engagement in class
• Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school or care background welcome)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A calm, positive, and patient attitude
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Autism Awareness) desirable but not essential

• A supportive team and regular CPD training
