Learning Support Assistants

£95- £105 per day

SANZA Teaching Agency is currently working with a number of great primary schools across the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham. They are seeking learning support assistants for several positions starting in September 2025!

As a learning support assistant, you will:

• Work closely with primary aged students who have a diagnosis of Autism
• Provide dedicated support in class, helping students access learning materials
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson materials and ensure they are accessible for the student
• Encourage social interaction
• Work closely with the school's inclusion team to implement individual strategies for the student's development
• Work with small groups of students delivering targeted interventions
• Work 1:1 with students as required

ABOUT YOU

The successful learning support assistant will ideally have a university degree and/or previous experience in an educational or special needs background.

Key skills and experience needed:

• Experienced or aspiring teacher, SEN teaching assistant or learning support assistant
• Understanding of Autism
• Strong behaviour management
• Professional manor
• Enthusiasm and friendly approach
• To be fun and creative
