Learning Support Assistant - Search : Job Details

Search are working in partnership with an innovative and exciting care group based in Bolton to recruit a Learning Assistant to support the teacher in creating a stimulative and rich environment to provide all children's a varied learning experiences to develop and improve their skills.

Other duties responsibilities include:

• You will be responsible for carrying out lessons and activities pre-planned by the teacher in case of her/his absence
• Must contribute to the protection of all children from abuse
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of joint working between staff of children and their family and between partner agencies to the benefit of children and their family
• Responsible for the supervision of children when undertaking off-site activities
• Fully utilise a range of ICT tools and resources to each child's learning across the curriculum and to support administrative tasks as requiredCarry out duties in an appropriate and professional manner
• Contribute to statutory annual education and looked after children reviews and other assessments such as EHCPs as requiredPromote, monitor and maintain health, safety and security at work in-line with the relevant legislation
• Carry out organisational objectives in-line with relevant legislation
• Fully utilise a range of ICT tools and resources to support each child's learning across thecurriculum
• Fully utilise a range of ICT tools and resources to support administrative tasks as required
• Drive the organisation's minibuses, when required, if Midas accredited.
