This is a newly created role, giving the exciting opportunity to create your own vision. We’re looking for a dynamic Learning & Development Business Partner to lead and shape the L&D strategy, delivering engaging training programmes, and building a culture of continuous learning across the business.
This is a high-impact role with autonomy and scope to innovate. You’ll be:
- Leading entire projects and processes.
- Influencing decision-making at senior levels.
- Driving improvements in systems and processes.
- Helping shape the future of the workforce.
What’s involved
As L&D Business Partner, you’ll be at the heart of the people development journey. Your role will include:
- Designing and executing the annual learning and training plans.
- Leading a team of 3 trainers within the Operations Function.
- Developing competency frameworks and career pathways that are inclusive and transparent.
- Driving leadership development and talent management initiatives.
- Building strong relationships with external partners including colleges, universities, and training providers.
- Managing the early careers strategy, including apprenticeships, graduate schemes, and school outreach.
- Ensuring compliance with GDPR and audit requirements in all training-related processes.
- Contribute to the planning stage of a new HRIS system to be implemented early 2026
Who You’ll Work With
You’ll collaborate closely with:
- Internal stakeholders: Leadership Team, Functional Leaders, and Board Members.
- External partners: Training vendors, colleges, universities, and auditors.

Qualifications:
- CIPD qualification preferred (but not essential).
- Practical knowledge of project management is a plus.
