The Role of Lead LTL Manager - Road Freight, you will lead LTL and cross-dock operations, prioritising efficiency, profitability, customer satisfaction, and market growth.

Here you will oversee the daily activities of the LTL(less-than-truckload) team to guarantee consistent and effective operational execution.

Responsibilities of this Lead LTL Manager - Road Freight:

• Drive targeted volume growth to strengthen the LTL product and enhance overall P&L performance, in close collaboration with your team and commercial stakeholders.
• Oversee operational activities to ensure they are delivered with efficiency and accuracy, while identifying margin improvement opportunities.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to further develop and optimise the LTL service offering.
• Take full ownership and management of cross-dock operations.
• Maintain clear, consistent, and effective communication with stakeholders to maximise performance and returns.
• Work collaboratively across departments, contributing to trailer management and supporting broader business objectives.

To be successful in this Lead LTL Manager - Road Freight:

• Having 5- 7 years of experience in European road transport, preferably in LTL part-load distribution
• That you worked in a leadership capacity managing operations, customer service & the P&L of the operation.
• That you worked in similar job title such as Product, Operations, Freight or Transport in a senior leadership position.
• To drive new revenue & control costs whiles being in charge of the P&L
• Fluent in English and Dutch ( c1 level)
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Demonstrated expertise in cross-dock operations, trailer management, and customer service processes.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with a high sense of responsibility.
• Team-oriented, able to collaborate effectively across departments.
