Lead Full-Stack Developer - Marshall Wolfe : Job Details

Marshall Wolfe is proud to be supporting a fast-growing AI technology startup in their search for a Lead Full-Stack Developer to join their emerging team.

As the lead, you will work closely with the Solutions Architect to build architecture for AI projects. You will drive the development of high-quality AI applications, establishing engineering best practices. This hands-on role requires autonomy and independence alongside a unique blend of deep technical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable solutions.

This role offers hybrid working.

Responsibilities:

• Take high-level designs from the Lead Architect and transform them into working products.
• Develop AI-powered applications using Python, LLMs, PostgreSQL, Pinecone, and Redis.
• Design & implement scalable, distributed AI systems for real-world business use cases.
• Be hands-on in development now, with the potential to lead a small team in the future.

Requirements:

• 3-10 years of experience in Full-stack development, with some exposure to architecture.
• Strong Python, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, and AWS cloud services experience.
• Client-facing experience - ability to bridge the gap between technical and business needs.
• A keen interest in AI - exposure to AI technologies is a bonus.
• Previous experience in leading Agile development teams to deliver scalable, distributed solutions
• Start-up mentality, autonomy, can-do attitude.
