Job Description :

What You Will Be Doing:

As the Lead Assessor, the successful candidate will ensure the company maintains an up-to-date and accurate listing of all essential accreditations by role, providing assurance on accreditations gained by employees and operatives. They will lead the assessment and training for Telecoms accreditations where relevant.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying key accreditations required for each Telecoms contract and liaising with the Contract Manager and Recruitment to ensure the correct personnel are engaged.
  • Working with Training Coordinators to ensure essential accreditations are maintained and records are up to date.
  • Assisting the SHEQ Director in identifying and auditing quality training providers internally and externally.
  • Performing regular internal audits of accreditations to maintain standards.
  • Leading assessments of telecoms accreditations (e.g., SMART awards).
  • Creating and maintaining an accreditations matrix by contract.
  • Identifying and engaging training and accreditation suppliers.
  • Quality checking documents, communications, and portals for correct information.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for the general accreditation inbox, answering and assisting with queries.
  • Attending meetings with the Management Team to review the accreditation matrix for each contract.
  • Creating and maintaining a Project Management Accreditation plan and budget tracker.

This role can be based in Maidenhead or Chippenham but will require travel across the South.

What They’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with large-scale accreditations (800+ people)
  • Assessor status for telecoms accreditations
  • Experience using bespoke accreditation software
  • Previous experience managing budgets
  • Knowledge of the accreditation process
  • Lead Assessor Accreditation for SMART Awards
  • Knowledge of GDPR and best practice data management
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Comfortable creating presentations
  • Calm under pressure
  • Resourceful and organised
  • Good IT skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Fluent in English
