Summary Of Job Duties:

·To supervise and assist in the successful running of the Laundry department supporting the Laundry Manager.

·Together with the Laundry Manager supervise rota management and attendance of all laundry staff.

·Take lead in assisting Laundry staff ensuring service levels are reached to a high standard

·Train employees on all laundry procedures

·Run shift to ensure timely productivity and quality of service provision.

• Arranging of linen and clothing observing hygienic working practises
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Arranging, ironing and packing of clean linen and clothing in preparation for forward delivery
• Operation of laundry equipment to include: Industrial washing machines / Industrial tumble dryers/rotary ironing press/Industrial hand steam iron
• Work collaboratively and as part of a team with all colleagues in order to maintain the smooth running of the Laundry department
