Job Title: Land & Partnership Officer

Location: North West

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £37,000 - £38,000 per year

Responsibilities:

As a Land & Partnership Officer, you will play a crucial role in identifying and acquiring land for development projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting research to identify potential land opportunities
  • Building and maintaining relationships with landowners, developers, and stakeholders
  • Negotiating land acquisition deals and securing necessary agreements and permits
  • Collaborating with internal teams, such as architects and planners, to ensure the smooth progress of development projects
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to land acquisition and development

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Strong knowledge and experience in land acquisition within the housing industry
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders
  • Knowledge of planning and development regulations
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Experience in partnership management
  • Understanding of affordable housing initiatives and funding programmes

Technologies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with CRM software for managing land opportunities
