You will work as a key part of the R&D team, helping to develop in vitro and ex vivo assay models speaking to key mechanisms that link between the platform technology and target therapeutic indications, namely, immunomodulatory/anti-inflammatory and other key drivers of ageing

The role:

• Planning, performing and quantifying in vitro experiments, using existing protocols, but also introducing new techniques
• Assisting with in vivo experiments (rodent experiments)
• Carry out experimental techniques, including molecular and protein profiling (PCR, ELISA, qPRCR, Western blotting), Histology and Immunocytochemistry, Tissue and organ culture and Cell biology (light microscopy, time-lapse microscopy)
• Collate, analyse and present data
• Write reports, reviews and summaries
• Write research SOP's, protocols and risk assessments
• Keep up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments

The person:

• Minimum BSc, ideally MSc in Cell or Molecular Biology, Biomedical sciences or related subject
• 2-3 years of relevant experience (ideally in industry - translational medicine or Biotechnology)
