Laboratory/Quality Control Apprentice - The Recruitment Link Ltd : Job Details

This is an excellent opportunity to join a very well-established company who supply chemical products to a wide variety of industries across the globe.

They are currently seeking a school or college leaver with an A level or equivalent College qualification in a science related subject who is looking for a career within a Laboratory or Quality control environment.

The main duties will include:

• Performing analysis of raw materials, finished goods, waste streams, and returned materials.
• Entering data into SAP and other IT systems.
• Performing calibrations of analytical equipment.
• Issuing Certificates of Analysis.
• Maintaining the sample retention system.
• Maintaining appropriate records of analysis etc.
• Preparing and packing samples for customer evaluation.
• Maintaining good housekeeping within the lab.
• Liaising with production team, logistics team and sales team to ensure products are available for despatch to customers.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:45-17:00.
