KS2 Teaching Assistant – Primary School in Huddersfield

Engage Education is currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Huddersfield. About the Role as a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant:

As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you’ll be supporting pupils in Years 3 to 6, both inside and outside the classroom. Your role will include:

• Providing tailored support to small groups and individual pupils
• Supporting pupils with English, Maths, and other core subjects
• Assisting with behaviour management and classroom routines
• Delivering engaging learning interventions under the guidance of the class teacher
• Helping to create a stimulating learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working with KS2 children (in a school or similar setting)
• A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential
• Good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and the ability to adapt to different learning needs
• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or similar)
