Salary: ECT/MPS/UPS (specific amount to be discussed)

Reed are supporting a primary school in Leeds with the recruitment of a KS2 Teacher to join their team from September 2024 onwards, this role has the potential to become permanent for the successful candidate.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is eager to contribute to their ethos of nurturing students and delivering an exciting curriculum.
Day to Day of the role:
- Deliver outstanding classroom practice and contribute to the learning and development of KS2 pupils.
- Engage in shared planning and collaboration with colleagues.
- Lead a curriculum subject confidently, contributing to the school’s development.
- Foster a happy, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all children.
- Implement effective pedagogy to raise attainment and accelerate progress.
- Work cooperatively with colleagues, children, parents, governors, and external agencies.
- Reflect on teaching practices and lead by example, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven track record in teaching and learning within KS2.
- Strong commitment to raising pupil achievement.
- Ability to work as an active member of the school team.
- Confidence in leading a curriculum subject.
- Commitment to inclusion and the ability to cater to all children.
- Desire to continually improve teaching skills.
- Adaptability, confidence, enthusiasm, and resilience.
- Efficient and organized with the ability to self-manage in a busy school environment.
