Are you passionate about supporting Key Stage 2 learners and helping them prepare for their SATs?A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Edgbaston is seeking a committed Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in a crucial academic year for students.

About the Role:

As a Year 6 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of core subjects including Maths, English and Science. You'll work closely with the class teacher to deliver whole class support, while also offering additional assistance to pupils with low-level SEN within the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the teaching and learning of Year 6 pupils.
• Assist in delivering engaging and effective lessons in Maths, English, and Science.
• Provide targeted support to pupils with low-level SEN needs.
• Help prepare students for end-of-year SATs assessments.
• Foster a positive and focused learning environment.

Candidate Requirements:

• A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Previous experience working in a classroom setting (ideally at least one year).
• Good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and Year 6 SATs preparation.
• Confident supporting whole-class learning and targeted group interventions.
• Proactive, reliable and passionate about supporting young learners.
