Key Responsibilities as a Year 3 Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that excite and inspire Year 3 learners across the Key Stage 2 curriculum, tailored to meet the needs of all learners
- Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels they belong and can thrive both academically and emotionally
- Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively and support children of all abilities
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school
- Foster strong relationships with your Year 3 pupil’s families and the local community
Requirements for a Year 3 Teacher:
- Must hold a QTS or to be on track to receive if applying as an ECT.
- Previous experience teaching experience or teacher training placements through KS1 and KS2.
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum and identifying each childs emotional and social needs (SEN).
- Experience using formative and summative assessments to track progress and adapt teaching accordingly
