- Build and foster strong KOL and customer relationshipswithin the territory:
- Work along Chief Surgeons and Surgeons to support usage of the product and other technologies in the OR;
- Be in the OR and departments to present and demonstrate the product while fostering strong relationships with OR stakeholders;
- Identify opportunities with new customers and develop tailored solutions dependent upon customer needs;
- Manage and grow sales within the existing customer base ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained;
- Ensure a high level of product, therapeutic and competitor knowledge is obtained and maintained;
- Liaise with stakeholders such as Pharmacists, Purchase Managers and Admin to manage continuous availability of the product within Trusts and Clinics;
- Compliance with both local jurisdictions, regulatory, professional and ethical standards.
- An in depth understanding of the responsibilities involved in working with NHS and private sector.
- Conduct a regular territory analysis in order to develop an in depth understanding of customers, competitor landscape and trends in sales and market share;
- Complete monthly customer activity and sales reports including detail on the sales pipeline;
- Ensure time allocation and focus are aligned with the defined company sales strategy;
- Execute defined UK Key Account strategies at the local account level;
- Ensure all contact details and agreed activities are updated in CRM system in a timely manner ensuring these are GDPR compliant;
- Available to travel (min 50% to max 80%) and stay overnight if required;
- Provide tailored training sessions to customers dependent upon identified needs.
What you will need
- Desired degree-level qualification in life sciences;
- Experience selling into theatres and clinics;
- Theatre / Surgery environment experience;
- Working experience in NHS Trusts and super Trusts;
- Knowledge of NHS and the private sector sales cycle is a must;
- Strong numerical and analytical skills to evaluate the commercial approach;
- Strong people skills to develop long-lasting customer relationships;
- Team player, strong sense of urgency and accountability;
- Experience in utilising Microsoft Office suite e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SalesForce
