Kenny Recruit are looking for a progressive Key Account Manager to join a growing and energetic marketing communications business. The opportunity here is fantastic, they’re going through a phase of growth which means brand new offices being introduced later in the year but more importantly, this role being one that is going to drive new business and be part of a great team, of which you will be the 6th member. This opportunity gives the right person the chance to shake things up, we are looking for someone who will 'take on’ the role and make it their own. The Sales Director is looking for someone who loves upselling and embracing automation to assist them, someone who is constantly thinking "how do I save TIME but make more MONEY".

This role is all about looking forward, it won’t suit someone who is looking to be just an account manager, you've got to want to improve your desk and grow your relationships, whilst account managing.

  • Pay: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum dependent on experience) + commission + benefits
  • Location: Richmond (3 days in the office)
  • Working hours: 9:00am - 5.00pm

Key Purpose:

  • Drive revenue and volume growth from an agreed target client list within a key vertical to help deliver quarterly and annual sales budget
  • Build strong relationships with key clients so we become a key strategic partner (and not just a supplier)
  • Build your brand to become a category and thought leader in your vertical through regular LinkedIn articles and category leadership pieces
  • Attend relevant trade shows and client events to create maximum exposure and drive relationships with key clients

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and regularly review strategy and contact management documents for each of your T1-T4 clients
  • Meet with key clients on a regular (quarterly or bi-annual) basis to deepen relationships, uncover product development opportunities and ensure we are aligned with their current and future needs
  • Have a deep understanding of all products and services so that they can be fully explained to customers
  • Stay on top of industry trends to identify and drive incremental business opportunities, accurately recording activity and opportunities in HubSpot CRM
  • Generate google reviews and referrals from your client base
  • Manage customer payments ensuring services received on time and according to agreed terms
  • Working in partnership with colleagues and other internal teams to ensure customers receive a first-class service

Requirements:

  • New and existing client pipeline management
  • Excellent presentation skills at all levels, both in person and on Teams
  • Strong question techniques to understand customers’ requirements and inform future product development
  • Excellent ability to identify and strategically face into key accounts and opportunities
  • Strong understanding of data and how best to use it in the sales process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to prioritise workload and manage peaks and troughs effectively
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across multiple departments
  • Comfortable working in an SME environment
