Junior to Semi-Senior Accountant - Blusource : Job Details

A  firm of Accountants based in Milton Keynes are seeking to hire from a Junior to a Semi-Senior level, for a good career job opportunity within their firm. The salary is negotiable and will of course depend on experience and qualification level, so is open within reason.

The firm are relaxed about hybrid working, most of the staff go into the office most of the time, but can work part of the week from home. All trainees/new starters will need to be office based initially.

Key Accountabilities:

• Preparing accounts / financial statements - this includes incomplete records and computerised books.
• Maintaining accounts for clients to the required standard
• Dealing with client queries
• General bookkeeping on behalf of multiple clients using relevant accounting systems
• Preparation of financial accounts
• Completing and submitting VAT returns
• Year End accounts using accounts production software

Skills and Knowledge:

• AAT qualification desirable but not essential
• Knowledge of VAT returns desirable but not essential
