Junior Project Manager
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Junior Project Manager to join our well-established client based in Tipton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to develop their career in project management, working alongside experienced Project Managers on high-value, technically complex engineering projects.
Shifts: Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 17:00 (39 hours per week)Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Day-to-Day Duties:As a Junior Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects - ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Your duties will include (but not be limited to):
Supporting Project Managers in defining project strategy, scope, budget, and resource requirements.
Assisting with the coordination of cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Maintaining accurate project documentation in line with company, legal, and quality standards.
Monitoring project progress and helping to update schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
Supporting risk management, identifying potential issues, and assisting with mitigation plans.
Ensuring project change control processes are followed and scope variations are properly managed.
Assisting with commercial and contractual administration, including variation management.
Preparing internal and customer project reports, including monthly and quarterly reviews.
Managing smaller projects or specific workstreams independently, under senior supervision.
Ensuring all work complies with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
Essential Skills and Experience:To be successful as a Junior Project Manager, you will need:
A strong understanding of basic project management principles and processes.
Awareness of contract requirements, scope management, and risk control.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within nuclear, aerospace, oil & gas, or rail sectors.
Understanding of project cost control and commercial awareness.
Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
The ability to influence and motivate others.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Desirable Experience:
