The Role
As a Junior Financial Advisor, you will work closely with Senior Advisors to gain hands-on experience and develop the skills needed to transition into a full advisory role. Key Responsibilities
- Shadow Senior Advisors during client meetings to gather financial information, assess goals, and deliver tailored recommendations.
- Prepare detailed financial analyses, including cash flow projections, retirement planning strategies, and investment portfolio reviews.
- Research investment opportunities and assist in developing bespoke strategies aligned with clients' needs and risk profiles.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries while providing ongoing support to address their financial concerns.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes that may impact clients' financial plans.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless client experiences while maintaining compliance standards.
- Participate in training programs and professional development initiatives to enhance your expertise in financial advisory services.
Requirements:
- Experience: 6-12 months of experience in pension/retirement planning, with knowledge of pension drawdowns, consolidations, tax implications, and providing advice around pensions.
- Qualifications: Level 4 Diploma qualified or completion of some RO exams with a commitment to achieving full qualification.
- Skills: Strong communication skills with a natural ability to engage confidently with clients on a regular basis.
