Junior Bid & Research Analyst - The Hub : Job Details

The Hub are seeking a bright Junior Bid Analyst & Research Analyst to join their team on a full-time, remote working basis.

You will primarily be working from home however, the team will meet physically at least twice per month at any WeWork offices around London.

About The Hub

The Hub is a Digital Transformation company that sells the use of their platform and software solutions across various business verticals, including the public sector, healthcare, transport, education, finance, venues, events, and retail, issuing 45 million tokens and enabling over £500 million in sales over the last 15 years. Clients include National Express, Go Ahead Group, WMCA, The RaceCourse Association (RCA), and more.

The Hub Digital Operations Platform is an AWS cloud-based middleware platform. The Hub's technical USP is a mission-control dashboard called 'Commander' which covers a broad range of functions from 24/7 real-time remote monitoring & management of any device (e.g., ticketing, laboratory or educational) to help desk digitisation, web/data management, CRM and other functions which increase client uptime and improves both end user and operator experience in the relevant verticals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete mastery of The Hub's middleware platform and its potential across multiple verticals including details of how it's currently used live in the market
• Assist the Bid Manager in analysing new bids, researching bid partners, bid hardware products/services and filling out parts of the various concurrent bids leaving the Bid Manager and others time to sort out the added value proposition
• Technical research and analysis of products and services which would enhance our key offerings in multiple verticals, particularly for bids as well as sales efforts
• Comprehensive research into our competitors as well as potential partnerships which could enhance The Hub's overall offering.
• Research into new bleeding edge technologies compatible with our middleware platform and analysis into how they can be incorporated into our current and future product/service offerings
• Assist the sales and marketing team in creating marketing material as well as creating and maintaining the relevant databases across various verticals
• Assist the Account Manager in researching new business development ways through thorough analysis of the pain points of existing businesses and how our platform can provide relief by joining up the dots accordingly
• Assist other employees in carrying out their day-to-day tasks. This will predominantly be the Bid Manager but also the Sales & Marketing Manager, Project Manager, Account Manager, Product Manager, CTO, CFO & CEO.

Qualifications and skills:

• University degree with preferably at least 2 years' work experience in a similar research and analysis role with an emphasis on bid management
• A fresh graduate with a degree inclusive of bid management related modules and with the right disposition and fit into our company culture
• A non-graduate but with the right training and experience in roles similar to this especially as it pertains to bid management
• Must have a technical background
• Excellent written documentation and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work calmly in time-sensitive situations and provide swift responses to colleagues
• Bright with strong analytical skills and ability to learn very quickly
• Good organisational skills with an ability to adopt good practices to maximise research and analysis efficiency
• Proactive i.e., identify potential issues as well as opportunities across verticals through thorough research and analysis
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to quickly comprehend a brief and strong attention to detail
• Work from home but be a vital part of a team.
