This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in a vibrant academic environment while making a real impact on student experience and operational success.About the Role As a Junior Administrator, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of Student Services. You’ll provide front-line support to students and staff, manage administrative processes, and help coordinate a range of academic and student-focused activities.Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for student and staff queries.
  • Organise and support departmental meetings – including scheduling, agendas, and minutes.
  • Maintain accurate student and course records using internal systems.
  • Assist with the organisation of events such as open days, workshops, and conferences.
  • Support the creation and distribution of reports, timetables, and student communications.
  • Monitor shared email inboxes and respond to queries in a timely manner.
  • Order office supplies and ensure administrative needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively across administrative teams to support institutional goals.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with data protection policies.
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Clear, professional communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); quick to learn new systems.
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous administrative experience is desirable but not essential.
  • An understanding of the higher education sector is a plus.
