Are you an GCSE, A level or University graduate seeking to start down the path to an accountancy career? Perhaps you have a little experience in a practice firm but are looking to work for a larger, more reputable business? 

Reed Practice has been engaged exclusively to recruit a Trainee Accountant to join our client, headquartered in Cambridge. 

In this highly regarded, constantly expanding chartered accountancy practice, you will have the opportunity to build a solid foundation for your career, such as preparing accounts and creating tax returns.                                                                                                                                                                                                              

You will join an equally motivated team, supported and mentored by a manager and seniors on assignments.  Your development will be reviewed on a regular basis and be given a wide range of tasks to broaden your knowledge.

As you will be given full study support with exams and study leave, we invite those with the following to apply:

• Ideally some experience in an accounts department  or within a practice firm.
• A good standard and spread of GCSEs including at least a Grade 7 (A) at Mathematics and three A levels 
• Very comfortable with systems, ideally experience with MS Office including excel.
• A team player, open enough to ask for help when needed.
• Willing and able to work under pressure.
• Personable, able to communicate effectively at all levels
• Highly organised with excellent time management skills
• Able to reliably commute to the office and clients’ sites.  Driving licence and vehicle is imperative. 

Salary listed is a guide and will vary depending on the calibre and age of the successful applicant.
