Jira Administrator - Henderson Scott : Job Details

Contract: Up to £650/day (inside IR35 Umbrella rate)Duration: 12 months (with potential extension)

Location: Hybrid with sites across the UK

About the Role: Join a leading public sector client as a Jira/Confluence Specialist! They're rationalising their Atlassian installations and need an experienced administrator to lead, design, and perform the migration. You'll also provide ongoing business-driven enhancements and administration of Jira and Confluence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of Jira and Confluence projects/spaces and users.
• Design and implement bespoke Jira projects to support business needs.
• Integrate Jira with ServiceNow for strategic incident management.
• Perform performance tuning and optimisation.
• Collaborate with users in an agile environment to understand and meet their needs.

Essential Skills:

• Expert-level knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
• Proficiency with Atlassian plugins (including writing Groovy scripts for ScriptRunner).
• Experience in safely migrating Jira and Confluence installations.
• Strong administration skills for handling new users, spaces, and customised workflows.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Security Clearance:

• SC clearance required.
