Java Developer - Resource Solutions : Job Details

Our client, a global leader in data and technology services, analytics and predictive insights across various industries, is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join their team. The successful candidate will have strong experience in Spring Boot, SQL, Test Driven Development and Agile delivery.

This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects focused on Tokenization - Card Processing within the largest global payments network.

The position requires a commitment to work from the office three days a week in either Brighton or Burgess Hill.

What you'll do:

As a Java Developer, you will be at the forefront of complex research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. You will play an integral role in shaping project plans, schedules, and methodologies as you work on the development of cross-functional software products. Your expertise will be crucial in performing software design across multiple systems. Furthermore, your role will involve mentoring junior members of the team and translating user/customer requests into effective solutions.

The ideal candidate for this Java Developer role brings a wealth of experience in Java 11 Development along with proficiency in Spring Boot and SQL Server. She has strong knowledge of Test Driven Development and is well-versed in various software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall. Her skill set includes proficiency with data manipulation language and optimization techniques. She also understands normalized/dimensional data modelling principles. Above all, she possesses excellent communication skills which enable her to translate user/customer requests into effective solutions.
