Salary: £29,715.50 - £34,865.50 + wellbeing cash plan + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional Lift Schools benefits

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Help shape the future of IT in our schoolsWe are looking for an enthusiastic IT Technician to join our Central North London IT team, based at Aylward Academy, with occasional travel to other schools in the area. You will be part of a knowledgeable and supportive team, led by an experienced team leader, providing day-to-day technical support that helps our staff and students thrive.This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking trust that embraces innovation and the use of technology to aid teaching and learning. You'll have the chance to take part in working groups that share ideas and best practices, helping to shape how technology supports education across our schools.What you'll be doing

• Provide day-to-day IT support for staff and students on-site.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with Windows, Apple, and Chrome devices.
• Support systems such as visitor management, classroom technology, telephony, CCTV, and printers.
• Lead on setting up, relocating, and maintaining IT equipment.
• Play a key role in moving our schools to a cloud-hosted Google environment.
• Deploy software updates and support networks.
• Maintain accurate asset and service records.

What we're looking for

• A team player with a proactive, adaptable approach.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow with support from experienced colleagues.
• Experience with Windows systems, hardware, and audio-visual support is beneficial.

The role is due to commence as soon as possible.
