Overview:We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete an IT systems and networking - Azure Cloud Support Specialist - Level 3 Apprenticeship. 

Salary:£14,000 - £16,000 per annum.

The role:Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of: 

  • General helpdesk support including front-line technical assistance to end-users via various channels such as phone, email, chat, or in-person
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues and resolving them promptly
  • Logging, categorizing, prioritizing, and tracking support requests using ticketing systems
  • Creating, modifying, and disabling user accounts across various systems and applications including password resets, access permissions, and user provisioning
  • Assisting with the setup, configuration, and installation of computer hardware, peripherals, and software applications
  • Monitoring IT systems for performance, security, and reliability issues.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, antivirus scans, and backups to ensure system integrity
  • Following established IT policies, procedures, and protocols for incident management, change management, and security compliance
  • Escalating unresolved issues to 2nd line support or other appropriate teams for further investigation and resolution
  • Conducting user training sessions and providing guidance on IT best practices, security protocols, and usage policies to enhance end-user productivity and security awareness

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
