IT Systems Administrator - Optamor : Job Details

We're looking for 3 Systems Administrators to join our team based from Faslane, Helensburgh. This role benefits from our 9/75 working pattern offering a 9 day working fortnight. This is an exciting new role to provide IT support to our customers new IT system that will provide critical training to support the Royal Navy's outputs.You will be required to install and maintain computer hardware and software in an office and classroom environment. You will ensure that the Learning Management Systems remain secure, up to date and available for use. With this role you will be required to work closely with our customer and provide outstanding customer experience. You will come from a previous background of providing IT support from both a desktop and server support perspective.. The team provides IT classroom support from 06:00 until 00:00 Monday - Friday, so some shift work will be required across the team.The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate level (SC) of security clearance. Required skills, qualifications and experience

Previous background of working as an IT support position and have the following skill sets:

• Previous experience of working in an ITIL environment
• Windows Desktop support using either Windows 10 or Windows 11
• Support to Windows Server 2019 and above including system patching and malware updates
• Create and maintain user accounts within Active Directory
• Manage network components including workstation cable patching

Shift work details

Coverage between 06:00 until 00:00 Mon - Fri
