IT Support EngineerLondon - close to Charing Cross (with occasional travel to multiple sites)Full Time Monday – Friday, office basedSalary up to £38,000 + excellent benefitsElevation IT are looking for a passionate and experienced IT Support Engineer to join one of our key clients, a customer focused retail business based in London, to help drive operational excellence through seamless IT support.

As IT Support Engineer you will play a vital role in ensuring users across multiple sites, both on-site and remote have the technical support they need to thrive. You will deliver first-class service, manage internal IT systems and help shape the future of our IT infrastructure while supporting the development of the current IT apprentice.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective IT support in person and remotely, minimising business disruption while keeping users informed.
  • Deliver IT inductions for new starters and manage offboarding for leavers.
  • Liaise with third-party providers for additional technical support when required.
  • Proactively maintain and monitor onsite systems, ensuring performance and security.
  • Maintain and update IT system documentation and support materials.
  • Ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high professional standard.
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of IT projects across the business.
  • Manage and resolve tickets through the helpdesk system efficiently.
  • Mentor and support the development of our IT apprentice.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar IT support role.
  • Solid knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 technologies and administration.
  • Experience or awareness of cybersecurity.
  • Patching / Vulnerability management.
  • Networking experience.
  • Proven experience supporting multi-site operations and remote users.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a genuine desire to help people.
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel between sites when required.
