IT Support Analyst 2nd Line - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your New Role

As an IT Support Engineer (2nd Line), you'll be the go-to person for clients across the UK. You'll be the escalation point for the Service Desk team, tackling a wide range of technical issues with your extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, and networking. Based on-site in Taunton, you'll also get to travel to client sites for hands-on, face-to-face support. You'll be a key player in ensuring our clients' technology runs smoothly, sharing your expertise, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Endpoint Manager) and the ability to configure a tenant from scratch.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, networking (TCP-IP, routing, firewalls), and security protocols (DKIM, DMARC, SPF).
• A UK driver's license and access to your own vehicle, as client site visits and travel are a key part of this role.
• A proven track record of working with service desk tools and managing a high volume of tickets.
• A brilliant team player attitude with a problem-solving approach and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide high-level support directly to customers, both remotely and in person.
