IT Manager - Uxbridge Employment Agency : Job Details

Are you an IT Manager looking for a new challenge?

A very well established business based in the Hayes area have a newly created role within their IT Department. They are looking for a strong IT Manager to come in and really drive the department forward. Working closely with the Finance Director, you will be a key member of the management team having a large input on how to take the business to the next level from a technology standpoint.

Role responsibilities:

• Defining objectives, building the IT roadmap
• Work closely with the FD and other Head of Departments to establish best practices, policies, and team workflows
• Line management of the IT Coordinator
• Assist the business in evaluating IT investments and identifying areas of growth
• Ensure the security of data, network access and backup systems are up to date
• Managing IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware and software
• Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services
• Managing crisis situations and acting as an escalation point for any complex technical hardware or software problems
• In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws

The ideal candidate:

• Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience
• Strong knowledge and experience in cloud technologies, particularly AWS
• Experience in designing and deploying IT infrastructure and applications
• Ability to link high-level strategy to day-to-day projects
• Experience in managing budgets and tracking KPIs
• Good project management skills
