An experienced IT Manager is required for an established and exclusive business based in Bournemouth Dorset.

This is a rare opportunity to join a small and exclusive business working on site Monday - Friday in the education sector.

Responsibilities:

• You will be the sole person to oversee all IT functions within the business and work with local 3rd party suppliers
• Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
• Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration
• Train employees to use software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support
• Prepare cost-benefit analyses when upgrades are necessary, and monitor vendors to ensure that they're offering the best-possible service and value for business needs

Experience

• Previous experience in a simular IT Managers role within a small or medium sized business
• Hands on technical ability to resolve 2nd/3rd line IT support to the business users
• Experience in sourcing hardware - Buying laptops, mobiles, cables, screens etc
• Ability to work on own ability
• Excellent customer service skills both written and spoken

Salary / Benefits

£30,000 - £43,000
