What You'll Do:As our IT Assistant, you will be at the forefront of providing exceptional first and second line support. Your primary goal? Ensure users can access our IT services efficiently! Here's a glimpse of your responsibilities:

• End User Support:- Resolve user problems related to hardware and software.

- Keep our service desk tickets updated using Jira.

- Deliver engaging user training on IT systems.

- Collaborate with the IT team to enhance service quality.

• Infrastructure Support:- Conduct preventative maintenance of servers and systems.

- Perform daily operational tasks with guidance.

- Maintain our IT knowledge base and liaise with external service providers.

• AV/VC Support:- Prepare meeting rooms with the latest AV technology.

- Support examination sittings requiring computer access.

• General Duties:- Ensure timely payment of supplier invoices.

- Maintain records according to data protection policies.

- Contribute to our sustainability initiatives.

Who You Are:We're looking for someone with a blend of knowledge, skills, and enthusiasm! Here are the essentials:

• Experience:- At least one year in a first or second line support role within a Windows environment.

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products and IT security principles.

• Skills:
- Excellent communication skills; able to adapt to different audiences.

- Strong interpersonal skills to support colleagues across the organisation.

- Self-starter with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
