IT Asset Management - Analyst

OverviewOur client are seeking an ITAM Analyst to join a dedicated IT Asset Management (ITAM) team. This role supports the full lifecycle management of IT assets-software, hardware, and associated agreements-ensuring compliance, cost optimisation, and risk mitigation. You'll work closely with Software and Hardware Asset Managers, third-party providers, and various internal departments to support governance, reporting, audits, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support implementation and optimisation of IT asset lifecycle processes.
• Track and report ITAM-related risks.
• Assist with software and hardware audits.
• Respond to asset-related enquiries from business users.
• Use ITAM tools to monitor deployments, usage, and compliance.
• Generate compliance, usage, and cost reports.
• Support licence reviews and vendor negotiations.
• Maintain asset catalogues and assist with training delivery.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience in IT Asset Management.
• Familiarity with ITAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Snow, Flexera).
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently under general guidance.

Desirable

• Certifications: CSAM, CHAMP, ITIL v4, FinOps.
• Experience with SAM/HAM and vendor management.
• Knowledge of ISO 19770 and multi-vendor IT environments.
