About the role
At Booker, our IS team plays a vital role in making sure our systems are effective, secure, and efficient, helping us deliver great experiences for our customers, strengthen our communities, and care for our planet.
As an IS Analyst for Retail, you will be part of a supportive team that works together to make technology work for everyone. Your contributions will help ensure our systems run smoothly and securely, enabling colleagues and customers to thrive.
You will be responsible for
• Support colleagues and retail partners with EPOS systems and their connection to the Booker Retail Gateway
• Provide assistance for the Scoot rapid delivery platform, helping to keep services reliable and accessible
• Contribute to projects that bring our IS Retail Strategy to life
• Play an important role in keeping the Retail Gateway and Scoot platform safe and secure
You will need
• Experience in technical project management or coordinating projects with a technology focus
• Background in IT service desk or technical support, with a customer-first approach
• Ability to deliver results consistently and work towards shared goals
• Experience in customer service and building positive relationships
• Knowledge of EPOS systems (helpful but not essential)
• Awareness of wholesale industry business processes (helpful but not essential)
• Awareness of convenience retail business processes (helpful but not essential)
