Job Description :

An exceptional IP London law firm are seeking an experienced Legal Administrator, ideally with knowledge and experience within Patent Law.

Duties within the role will include:

  • General Administration.
  • Diary management.
  • Client liaison eg: organising meetings, drafting emails.
  • Monitoring emails and ensuring everything is actioned by the team.
  • Managing deadlines.
  • Preparing cost estimates for paralegal review.
  • Generating standard email reports.
  • Revieing and raising client invoices.
  • Entering billable charges into the office system.
  • Finalising and sending invoices to clients.
  • Preparing reports.

Requirements for the role:

  • Patent / IP administration support experience or a legal secretarial diploma background.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and at pace under pressure.
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively in a team.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Confident working in a client-facing communication role.
  • Confident working with fee earners.
  • Experience working with electronic records, document management and billing systems.
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office suite including, Word Excel and Outlook.
  • A keen eye for detail.
