Investment Risk Analyst 1st line - eFinancialCareers : Job Details

Our client is one of the leading buy side firms with a culture which resembles that of a Hedge Fund more than a typical Asset Manager. Risk sits in the 1st line under the business rather than a 2nd line independent CRO.

This in effect means higher bonuses and a more commercial role!

Sitting in a small to medium sized Risk Management team, working closely with the business. The attraction for this role stems from working with some of the leading minds in the Industry. Further more the team has the capacity to support and develop a junior member of the time rather than simply side line their juniors to work on reporting.

Reporting into the business directly the successful candidate will have a steep learning curve, working on the desk with the Portfolio Managers.

Our client does use Python and requires candidates to be able to script write with Python. Although this is certainly not a developer role, it is a hugely valuable skill used on an ad-hoc basis.

Our client requires fixed Income: Rates/FX demonstrable knowledge either in developed or Emerging markets as a pre-requisite.
