Job Description :

We are looking for a motivated investment professional to join our agile team as an Investment and Investor Relations Analyst. The individual will have the opportunity to be exposed to the wide range of deals of our diversified portfolio across different investment strategies and asset classes where you will get hands-on experience in asset management and you will further be responsible for articulating and implementing iAM’s strategy for raising capital for its investment products. The opportunity will allow you to join a small team of well-seasoned professionals during a growth period for the company.

The role will be based in our office in Mayfair, London, with travel expected to France and Italy.

Main Responsibilities

Investment

  • Support the team in screening and analysing new Real Estate and Alternative investment opportunities;
  • Assist with the origination, execution and asset management of investments through financial analysis, due-diligence and excel modelling, and by managing advisors and workstreams;
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis, research and reporting to monitor the investment performance and the wider market;
  • Design and maintain robust financial models for investments to enable sound business planning and decision making;
  • Prepare presentations and supporting documents as required for transactions and strategic projects, for both internal and external stakeholders; and
  • Interact with the CEO, partners, investors and stakeholders to regularly update them on investment performance, work in progress and pipeline.

Investor relations

  • Actively identify and introduce prospective investors to the Group Companies’ financial products;
  • Arrangement of and participation in marketing meetings, preparation of tailored marketing materials, and playing an active role in the sales process;
  • Developing and maintaining a real-time sophisticated understanding of the Group Companies’ businesses, funds under management, pending and prospective financing transactions;
  • Working with the Company’s management to further develop, update, and meet fundraising and marketing targets;
  • Improving the Group Companies’ marketing efforts toward, and securing investments from, financial institutions and other institutional investors, including assisting in KYC/AML information gathering;
  • Participating in the maintenance of relationships with, and outreach to, the Group Companies’ current investor base; and
  • Working closely with the Company’s staff and consultants in connection with the foregoing.

Skills required

  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience, ideally in Real Estate, accounting, private equity, investment/asset management, advisory, investment banking or a similar industry;
  • Recognised degree or professional qualification;
  • Strong basis of modelling skills and advanced analytical capabilities: proven ability to construct well-structured, robust, logical, Excel-based financial models (DCF, NPV, IRR, Sensitivity Analysis, etc);
  • Ability to summarise complex financial data in clear analyses and presentations;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written), strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently in a small team environment;
  • Applicants must be fluent in written and spoken professional English and either Italian or French, any other additional languages will be an advantage;
  • Flexible and committed during busy periods, with a can-do attitude;
  • Ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects at once;
  • Familiarity with loan structures and documentation is an advantage;
  • Interest in and exposure to Real Estate, Green Energy and/or Fintech projects will be an advantage as well as a genuine motivation to develop a career within those industries; and
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
