- We are looking to recruit a hardworking, diligent individual with an active interest in the industry and a desire to provide our clients with a high level of personal service.
- This role will be assisting two Investment Managers, alongside our investment administrator whilst working within a wider team.
- This is a key administrative position and the successful applicant with play an integral role in supporting a busy team in the management and development of their growing client base.
- The individual will report to the two senior Investment Managers and the Team's Leader.
- We will provide full training for the role, we work collaboratively to achieve the teams goal, and you will progress as quickly as you learn the varied tasks
- As your role is central within the team, you will be assisting in general administration duties. These duties are varied daily, but usually consist of answering the phones, preparing PowerPoint presentations, preparing suitability letters and maintenance of suitability affirmations, and assisting in the production of investment proposals. You will be required to assist in the distribution of valuations and tax packs for the team's client base.
- You will also be required to facilitate the smooth opening of new accounts, arrange payments to our clients and advisers, and assist Investment Managers with preparation for client meetings.
- You will be working very closely with our clients and their agents, and you will need to provide optimal service levels, including providing information and reports regarding their portfolios, which necessitates close relationship building with our stakeholders whether that be internally or externally. It is therefore essential that you exhibit a pleasant, courteous and professional demeanour, enabling you to establish effective relationships with a diverse range of clients.
- You should be comfortable writing and responding to emails and letters as well as talking to clients on the phone.
About You - Ideally you will have experience in a similar role as an Investment Administrator within Wealth or Investment Management, however this is not essential
- To be successful in this role you'll be an independent worker and thinker.
- You have an interest in financial services or have a good understanding of our financial services where you can utilise your knowledge and experience within investment management.
- A good level of communication skills is required.
- You will be working very closely with our clients and their trusted advisers to provide the best service with information regarding their portfolio, which necessitates close relationship building with all stakeholders whether that be internally or externally. You will therefore need to have a good communication and interpersonal skill set. You will need to be able to build a rapport with clients and be able to adapt your style to suit the variety of clients we look after.
- You will be able to act on your own initiative and work independently.
- You will have solid organisational skills to manage your workload and meet deadlines. You will also understand the importance of precision and accuracy .
- If you have an Administrative Financial Qualification, experience within financial services is beneficial.
