International Service Engineer (Defence / Manufacturing)£38,000 - £45,000 + Expenses + Hybrid + 23 Days Holiday + BenefitsCambridge, CambridgeshireAre you an Ex-Forces Engineer or a Service Engineer with experience working overseas looking for a role offering expert training, tailored development plans and the opportunity to travel all over the world?In this role, 50% of your time will be servicing and repairing a wide range of electronic, electrical and mechanical equipment within mostly industrial and manufacturing environments around the UK and Overseas. When not on the road, you will be working from a Cambridge based office supporting customers and engineers over the phone and through technical documents. To begin with, you will spend 3 months in specialist training to understand the products at a R&D site in Cambridge.This company is a leading provider of thermal imaging solutions to major institution like NASA and the MOD, offering cutting-edge infrared cameras for industrial, scientific, security, and military applications. You will be working in their Cambridge site, home to over 70 employees, on various high-tech and specialised projects.This role would suit a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with experience of Internation travel looking for a role offering expert training and a balance of office based work and staying away.The Role:

• 50% Office based, supporting customers and clients remotely
• 50% International and National Servicing, normally 2 weeks away at a time
• Repairing equipment on customer sites
• Liaising with customers remotely to troubleshoot and solve issues
• Full training in a Cambridge based R&D site for the first 3 months

The Person:

• Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-skilled Engineer
• Prior experience of International travel
• Full UK Driving License and Passport
