Role: Internal Sales & Logistics Executive

Salary: up to £35,000 DOE + Company Bonus Scheme

Location: Stockport – HYBRID working – 2 days in the office

Type: Full-time/Permanent

Reed are delighted to be working with our long-standing client in their search for a Sales & Logistics Executive to support with their ongoing growth plans and client delivery.

In this role you’ll be part of a small but forward-thinking team, who work collaboratively to provide exceptional service to their customers.

You will be responsible for handling sales processes triggered by customer enquiry, planning, procurement and global shipping activities. The shipping (export and import) element of this role will be supported by the shipping team within their parent company, however you must have previous experience with this documentation/process to be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership of business customer enquiries
  • Management of enquiry journey until event completion
  • Calculate costing, product quotations, and support customer sales enquiries
  • Liaising with distributors, partners and rental associates to facilitate requirements for quotations
  • Obtaining same day freight quotes to support 24-hour customer quotation turnaround
  • Supporting the Business Manager with ad-hoc tasks, such as stock management and re-orders to ensure constant stock levels
  • Processing despatches, including creation of commercial invoices, and packing lists
  • Working with their parent company to expedite all shipping activities relating to customer orders, sample shipments and internal stock movements
  • Analyse and report costs and performances relating to logistics activities
  • Occasional international travel (paid for) required for events and client meets

About you!

  • 3 years’ experience dealing with sales processes, and multimodal international transport
  • Proficient on CRM systems, such as Salesforce and SAGE
  • Well organised with a passion for attention to detail
  • Knowledge of export procedures and experience in producing export documentation
  • Full clean driving license
  • Passport
